About Zoe Ko
Zoe Ko is a children’s book writer and illustrator and the creator behind Books for Dreamers. With a background in Journalism and Book Publishing, her work is shaped by a deep appreciation for storytelling, creativity, and thoughtful expression.
Her work focuses on simple, intentional storytelling, using natural materials and hand-painted collage illustrations, built from layered, hand-painted papers and textures. She creates books that feel calm and engaging — designed not only for children, but for shared experiences between parent and child. Each book is carefully crafted in small batches, with attention to detail, texture, and visual storytelling.
Zoe also writes across several genres, including novels, immigration guides, and self-development books, while continuing to create meaningful and engaging children’s books for the youngest learners.
Through simple storytelling and minimal collage-style illustrations, her work nurtures curiosity, sparks imagination, and encourages a natural love of learning.
